We are incredibly proud to announce that the last new residence at The Gateway Grand, a two-story penthouse, was sold on August 31, 2018!

Some of you may not realize that the history of The Gateway Grand dates back to November 2004 when a meeting took place on the future site of The Gateway Grand among Grant Fritschle; his father, Mark Fritschle; Steve Rosenblatt, an Ocean City developer; and Marie Karl of Trammell Crow Company. Mr. Rosenblatt and his partners would later sell to Trammell Crow the land on which The Gateway Grand now stands. In mid-July 2008 the first settlement of a Gateway Grand residence occurred.

Fourteen years of countless hours, energy and effort from the entire development team has culminated in what has been one of the most fulfilling and challenging building sell-outs of our careers. With the contributions of so many, we were able to accomplish a strategically successful sell-out that preserved the integrity and character of the building. It has been a rewarding journey for us, and we are extremely grateful for the support and friendships we have gained throughout these years.

In addition, we would like to express our gratitude to those who worked so hard behind the scenes to make this day possible: Marie Karl, John Rock, Ross McWilliams, Chris Roth, Scott Jenkins, Michael Gershenson, Adam Weers, Clint Mann, Jeff Akseizer, Mark Fritschle and countless others. We truly appreciate all their hard work, patience and, above all, their guidance.

Looking forward we hope to maintain close relationships with the owners of The Gateway Grand as we continue our presence on site, concentrating on assisting these owners with sales and resort rental needs. Reconfiguration of the existing Sales Center will commence shortly; the large office will be occupied by the Association; two of the smaller offices, by us.
